It's a tradition that area antique tractor owners have participated in for more than a decade, 25 plus tractors lined up to ride around and raise money for charity. This year the Oregon Trail Tractor ride will donate more than $400 to the Festival of Hope. Antique tractors drove from stop to stop to pick up poker cards to see who had the best hand at the end of the ride. The first place winner in the poker run will receive a $100 prize. It's just for fun, owners like to get the old tractors out that they restored. The ride begins at the Legacy of the Plains Museum at 9 a.m., journeys east toward Minatare, south to Melbeta and then east to the Oregon Trail Wagon Train near Bayard where lunch will be served.
