Entertainment in Scotts Bluff Area
Ellis' Harvest Home is located on the farm west of Lingle that the Ellis family has been farming since 1959. Ellis kids, grand-kids and great grand-kids all spend time working at Harvest Home doing something, sometime during the year.

Located along Five Rocks Road west of Gering, this amphitheater and pavilion houses bands and other open-air entertainment in the summer months, as well as Thursday night movies with a "drive-in"-like atmosphere.
Did you know?
Racing enthusiasts can experience the roar of engines at this oval asphalt track located four miles east of Gering. The only asphalt race track in Nebraska features stockcars, sprints, midgets, and karts from six states. Competitions gear up at 7 pm every Friday night all summer long. Enjoy the great view from the stands or get a close-up view of the competitors in the pit area. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Built in 1946, the Midwest Theater has been restored with lush velvet seats, beautiful carpeting, mirrors—an exciting place to attend movies and performances. The Theater presentations film, live performances of music, theater, and art; and a space for community programs, and hosts a Film Festival in October in even numbered years.
Discover the beautiful Nile Theatre. This family owned and operated theatre opened on November 21, 1939. A grand neon marquee decorates the the theatre front and the lobby looks like a luxurious living room complete with a firplace. This theatre still has a waterfall curtain that rises before the movie.
Old West Balloon Fest 2017 will take place on Labor Day Weekend September 2nd and 3rd. 18 hot air balloons from 7 states will fill the Western Nebraska skies. An early morning launch at sunrise 6:22 a.m. is planned for Saturday and Sunday at the Mitchell Airport launch site and a nightglow at 7:30 p.m. is planned for Sunday evening at Five Rocks in Gering.

Theatre West Summer Repertory is a Semi-Professional theatre program presenting three productions and twenty four performances each season. Our summer season operates throughout May, June and July in the Western Nebraska Community College Theater.
We at the West Nebraska Arts Center are committed to provide artists a lively public venue to share their talents with our community. The Main Gallery and the Bronson Gallery at WNAC are beautiful spaces that feature 18 exhibits a year by local, national, and international artists representing a wide variety of visual art. Scotts Bluff County and the surrounding region are rich with individuals who value the arts in their lives. Established in 1967 and located on the corner of 18th Street and 1st Avenue, just one block from downtown Scottsbluff, West Nebraska Arts Center is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization committed to education, awareness, and excellence in the arts. The gallery exhibits are always FREE and open to everyone.
